Attorney Charles D. Maddox’s practice focuses on probate litigation, real property matters, and business law. He regularly represents clients in Probate Court.

“Whether it is in the context of a dispute between neighbors in a homeowners association, or between family members over a loved one’s estate, interacting with the legal system can be very difficult and emotionally taxing. I find it extremely rewarding to be able to use the law to help people find solutions to what are, at their core, very human problems.”

Before coming to Oxford, Mr. Maddox had a diverse career in international business, law, and policy. He has taught international business and investment law at the graduate and undergraduate level, worked as an International Trade Specialist and Chief of Staff for a Deputy Assistant Secretary in the International Trade Administration at the US Department of Commerce, and has been involved in several entrepreneurial ventures. In the course of his career, he spent six years living in India and has also worked in Brazil and Vietnam.

Mr. Maddox now proudly calls Oxford home. His wife teaches at Miami University. They have a young daughter and two Indian street dogs which they brought back from Delhi.
